Guidance, not guarantees
How ScholarVoya's matches, career paths and AI tools work, what they can't promise, and when a person steps in.

We help you decide; we don't decide for you
Everything ScholarVoya shows you, from match scores and career paths to AI answers and drafts, is there to help you make your own decisions. We explain where each suggestion comes from, so you can judge it.
What we never promise
ScholarVoya never guarantees:
- admission to a programme or institution;
- recognition of a degree;
- a scholarship or other funding;
- a visa, an invitation or permanent residence;
- a job or a loan.
Institutions decide on admission and their scholarships, governments on visas and residence, employers on jobs and lenders on loans. Paying for a plan never buys any of these decisions.
How SmartMatch works
SmartMatch compares your profile with each programme's published requirements, using fixed rules rather than guesses. It scores academic fit, requirements, financial fit, career fit and, when you need one, scholarships, and shows what raised or lowered each score.
A programme is marked as missing requirements only when your profile shows that a requirement is not met. When your profile doesn't show something yet, such as a test result, the match stays at Possible until it does.
How Career Navigator works
Career Navigator compares your interests, talents, academic record and preferred lifestyle with each career. Fit is never shown above 95%, because no assessment can be certain about your future. Where what you say about yourself and the evidence in your portfolio differ, it tells you.
Facts about jobs and pay come from verified sources and show their publication date.
AI Coach, Ask ScholarVoya and Document Studio
- Answers use your profile and, for questions about rules and requirements, sources checked by ScholarVoya. The sources and their dates are shown with the answer.
- AI can be wrong. Check important information, such as deadlines, fees and visa rules, with the institution or the official source.
- Document Studio writes only from the facts you give it, and asks you to confirm that a document is accurate before you export it.
Where our information comes from
Programme and institution information comes from the institutions' official sources and is reviewed by ScholarVoya staff before it is published. Institutions can change fees, requirements and deadlines at any time, so always confirm them with the institution before you rely on them.
When a person steps in
- A ScholarVoya officer checks every application before it is sent to an institution.
- Questions about sensitive situations, such as a visa refusal, legal matters or financial hardship, are passed to an officer.
- You can ask for a person at any time: use Talk to a person in the AI Coach, Help & support or book an appointment.
- Questions that need regulated immigration or legal advice are referred to authorised professionals.
